Private Watercolour Development gives you the opportunity to work directly with Anne-Marie in a focused one-to-one session, without waiting for another group intake.
Choose the course level you would like to develop, and your session will be shaped around the essential techniques and practical skills taught within that stage of the Watercolour Mastery pathway.

Course 1 Development
Foundations of Watercolour
Ideal for complete beginners or anyone wishing to strengthen the fundamentals before moving forward.
The session may include
- Materials and setup
- Basic washes
- Water and paint control
- WOW and WOD techniques
- Lifting and gentle correction
- Brush confidence
- Simple foundational painting practice
Course 2 Development
Ink & Wash Spirit Art
Ideal for students wanting to develop confidence combining watercolour with expressive ink work.
The session may include
- Ink line confidence
- Watercolour and ink balance
- Loose washes
- Portrait, landscape or seascape techniques
- Tonal control
- Correction methods
- Working more freely and expressively
Course 3 Development
Expressive Watercolour Portraiture
Ideal for developing artists who want more focused support with portraits, expression and stronger technical control.
The session may include
- Facial structure
- Skin tones
- Expressive washes
- Layering and glazing
- Tonal values
- Colour confidence
- Correction and refinement
- Developing a more individual painting style

Current Course 1, Course 2 or Course 3 students may also book a private session to:

Completing Course 1 Private Development still gives you the opportunity to gain the certificate when completing Course 2 and Course 3.
Session Structure

When can I book?

Private Watercolour Development sessions are available on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Preferred dates and times will be arranged after payment.
Sessions must be booked and completed within three weeks of payment, subject to availability.
After booking, you will receive an email confirming:

- The Zoom joining information

- Payment must be made in full before a session is arranged.
- The session must take place within three weeks of payment.

- Private tuition is for one student only.
